Andriy Kutasevych was born in 1973 in Kyiv. In 1991 graduated from the Kyiv Lysenko Special Music School (the Piano department, class of Danyil Yudelevych). In 1996 graduated from the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music (the Piano department, class of prof. Vsevolod Vorobiov). In 1996–1999 studied as a postgraduate at the Academy. The prize-winner of the 4th International Fortepiano Competition at the Festival Van Vlaanderen – Brugge, Belgium (1992), the special prize and diploma winner of the International Lysenko Music Competitions in Kyiv (1997, 2002). Plays solo recitals and concertos with orchestras, performs as well the chamber ensemble music; participant of the Ukrainian and international music festivals. Recorded a number of world and the Ukrainian piano classic works for the Ukrainian Radio. Since 1999 has been working at the Piano department of the Ukrainian National Academy of Music; since 2010 as an Associate professor. Philosophy Doctor of Art studies (2015).
